This is finished, added in v3.4.0 today.

Didn’t the early version have this? I remember there was a checkbox in the export section for remove silence. Left unchecked it would keep the silent parts but the cuts would remain when importing the xml into Davinci.

Chris Breier: Yep, exactly that. The earlier version had this and I need to re-add it! (edit: updated the description to make that clearer)
