if the first one is not video but audio, where does it get the resolution and FPS data from?

Anton Evdakov It defaults to 60fps and 1080p until a video is added to the timeline. If any videos get added, it'll inherit the first one's video's framerate and resolution. If no videos get added, and the timeline is entirely audio, it stays at 60fps and 1080p.
