Able to play the deleted clip directly
I'm often unsure of the red clip here, as I doubt it's about gesture or deliberate pause. Thus, I need to play it to check.
Currently unable to play direclty, it needs to
1- click the clip
2- enable it
3- click the clip position
4- play
It would be ideal if could
1- click the clip position
2-play

Besides, could set a logic, if the playhead starts from outside the red clip, skip red clip.
If playhead starts in the red clip, play the current red clip; then play as usual and skip the next red clip.
Activity Feed
You can do this by unchecking the "Skip Silence" checkbox. While it's unchecked, you can click anywhere in the timeline, including red areas. That checkbox only affects the playback preview, so any exports will still have silence removed.
Vec: Ahh ok, interesting! That's a good idea.
Dave Ceddia: With that in mind, what may be more ideal , I suggest is to skip the red part when playing, but able to play back to double check. My aim is actually not to listen the red part, but to skip most red parts while able to re-check any missing part.
