Auto synchronize audio
Match up the audio on adjacent tracks to sync them up, good for multi-cam recordings or ones with a camera and an external mic.

Currently I solve this by output to a FCP multicam file.
This is very needed. Would be a big time saver for me
But you can drag both files into Recut, disable audio from camera, move one to sync with the other, everything inside Recut... (only missing thing is auto sync)
It would be wonderful!!
Would be my top for sure. Having to export from FCPX then to recut, then back again really slows down the process!
Dave Ceddia: Thanks for the reply! I never have been able to get it to work for my purposes, so that's why auto sync would be AMAZING!
Jordan R: You can manually sync them in Recut right now if you click the Segments/Clips button into Clips mode, and then drag the tracks side-to-side to align them. Not ideal of course, but might be able to skip the initial round trip through FCP.
Yes yes yes!!! Great work Dave!
This!! It's hard to edit professional videos with Recut because I need to first export the synced version and that already lowers the quality. Let's make this happen :)
Guadalupe Molina: You can manually sync them in Recut right now if you click the Segments/Clips button into Clips mode, and then drag the tracks side-to-side to align them. Not ideal of course, but might be able to skip the initial lossy export.
This would be amazing!! I currently sync video and audio in FCP, export, then import to Recut, then back to FCP. Would probably save me like 20 minutes for every video! 😀 Thanks for all the work on Recut Dave! Still loving it! 😊
