Ability to Autoexport For Tiktok/Reels
None of the big or small editors can do this automagically:
Maybe Recut can add this:
a) Select start,
b) select 15 - 30 second end.
c) repeat until happy.
d) bulk export all selections as separate reels. (ONE BUTTON PRESS). automatically named.
This puts reels into 2023 MUST HAVE tool for anyone getting into shorts or tiktok.
Bonus: It's stil a RECUT. :) Reels Cut. :) RepeatCut for Reels.

We're a little closer to this with v3.4.0 that came out today. It's got a new Sections tab that lets you automatically chop up the video based on long pauses. Right now it's pretty basic - can only chop it up by pauses, the sections can't be manually added/adjusted/removed etc. But the plumbing is in place to make something like this work.
This would be cool! Are you thinking you'd pick each end point manually? Or that Recut would suggest an end point based on your target time length?
Hm maybe it could be both 🤔 Maybe after you click on a start point, it shows you where +15 seconds is, and you could choose to accept it or change it. (see janky mockup)
Dave Ceddia: Recut will cut at 15, 30, 60 --option will be set up front per video.
Then there's an option to MOVE the END POINT CUT if needed.
